The data we collect

We collect user data through our contact forms. Any data sent through the contact form is automatically forwarded to the owner of Moments by Goldson (Harriet), this information is stored on the website database and on our email account.

We don't engage in any email marketing campaigns and won't share your information with third parties with the exception of those outlined below.

Client Galleries

Client galleries are hosted by Pixieset and require a password for access. Users may need to enter their email address to download images, this information is stored within our account on Pixieset, and is not shared with any third parties.

Some galleries may also be stored on Unscripted, galleries are accessed via a client portal. Unscripted may require basic information (i.e. name/email address) to allow downloads, all information is stored on their database and is not accessed or used by any third parties.

Client Data Storage

We securely store client data, including names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and wedding plans, on password-protected devices, secure cloud storage and encrypted backups. Client photos are also stored securely with the same methods.

Clients and Wedding Guests in Photos

Photos may contain personal data under certain regulations. We only photograph people with their consent or as part of a contracted service, such as weddings, engagements and other events. 

Wedding guests are photographed as a part of our wedding photography services. Their rights are protected by this policy. We consider photographing guests to be within our legitimate interests as a photography business.

However, getting consent from every guest is impractical. Therefore, we kindly request all clients to direct their guests to this policy before the event and advise them to contact us directly with any concerns.

Social Media Policy

We have social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Threads. Verify the authenticity of any profiles before interacting or sharing information. We will never ask for personal details on social media. Should you have any concerns, please complete a contact form to make us aware.

Promotional Use of Images

With your consent, we may use your photos for promotional purposes, such as on our website, social media, brochures, or flyers. We may also submit photos to lifestyle photography platforms, but we ensure lawful use and protect client privacy. Copyright remains with Moments by Goldson.

Withdrawing Consent

Anyone photographed by us can withdraw their consent for displaying their photo at any time. You can request this by emailing us (info@goldsonphotography.co.uk), please include as much information about the photo & where it is displayed on our site to ensure we can locate and remove it from any online and printed materials.

Contact Form

By submitting a contact form, you consent to us contacting you at your provided email address within 72 hours. You can request your email to be deleted by replying to the initial contact.

Data Storage by Third-Party Service

As mentioned above, some data may be stored with Pixieset (for gallery delivery and store purchases) & Unscripted (for gallery delivery, invoicing & contracts). We use a few printing labs (example a, b & c) for printed items and albums.

Purchases & Gifts

We may use your address to send you a thank you gift upon completion and delivery of your gallery. Please note, this gift from Moments by Goldson may include items from small & large businesses. All items included in the Thank You Gift have been purchased at full or wholesale price and are not sent for advertisement purposes, but purely as an act of goodwill. Should you wish to opt out of the free gift, please let us know via email (info@goldsonphotography.co.uk). 

We will also use your address to send any print orders directly to you. This information may be shared with the Print Lab if a fast turnaround has been requested to allow orders to be sent to you directly.
